Roles and permissions¶
Every member of an organization has one role. Each role includes everything the roles above it in this table can do.
Role |
Can |
|---|---|
Viewer |
See the organization’s sites, content and matrices, jobs, the review queue, the glossary, the translation memory, the brand voice, usage and members. |
Editor |
Also: add, edit and delete glossary terms; edit, delete, import and export translation memory entries; start translation jobs; fix, deliver, discard and retranslate in the review queue. |
Admin |
Also: add and edit sites (languages, engines, formality); create and revoke API keys; edit the brand voice; invite members, withdraw invitations, remove members who aren’t owners. |
Owner |
Also: open Billing (choose a plan, cover sites, invoices and cancellation); invite and remove owners. |
Rules:
The person who creates an organization becomes its owner.
An organization always keeps at least one owner.
Anyone who is signed in can create a new organization.
Invitations are valid for 14 days and only for the invited email address.
API keys belong to a site, not to a person. Anyone with the key can use the API for that site, so treat keys like passwords.
